Thus offering budding players a great opportunity to experience a competitive environment.
GREAT COACHING CAN MAKE A GREAT DIFFERENCE
Coaching at the STAG Table Tennis Academy is under the direction of Mohd. Ibrahim Khan and P. Nagender Reddy, former National-level players who won many laurels for Telangana and the organization, State Bank of India (SBI).
Md. Ibrahim Khan has a remarkable table tennis career for over thirty years and as a coach has the experience of training not only state team but also has groomed the Indian team to win medals and laurels in the international circuit, such as the South Asian Federation Games, Asian Championships and World Pro-Tour. A left hand player, Nagender Reddy has had an illustrious table tennis career for over three decades. As a coach, he groomed the Telangana State team as well as the Indian team to win medals and laurels in the international circuit. We also have two senior-most and dedicated coaches,

- Strategies and tactics
- Footwork training
- Serve and return
Leagues Championships will be conducted to assess the players.
Trainees are divided into different groups based on the skill of the players. Every player/group is monitored thoroughly by the coaches. Fun games and skill activities help increase fl exibility and coordination. Beginners become more focused, thus achieving overall development. Seniors are given a rigorous training schedule that includes advanced techniques, yoga and meditation to develop their concentration.
Beginners are introduced to the professional techniques of table tennis, and will have fun playing a game against the robot machine. Our special camps for beginners are excellent for building a solid foundation. The earnest and young will learn basic table tennis techniques and strokes in no time at all. Most of our champions who are winning State ranking tourna ments and national titles started with our beginners programs.
Intermediate-level players work on new skills, consistency and footwork, and they will have fun playing games as well. There is greater focus on stroke play, footwork, coordination, fair play, and positive attitude and behavior.
Our advanced-level camps are designed for competition players with the desire and drive to take their game to a much higher level. Players undergo extensive and rigorous training. Every player is trained to believe in himself or herself — and to believe that winning is by choice, not by chance. Our intermediate and advanced camps are designed to impart players the speed, anticipation, strokes and drills of high-level table tennis. Long practice sessions with the robot machine greatly help improve consistency and speed.
